National Voters' Day Celebrated

Udaipur : National Voters' Day was celebrated on Saturday at the LNT Auditorium of Ravindra Nath Tagore Medical College. The event was organized under the direction of District Election Officer (Collector) Arvind Poswal, and was chaired by District Panchayat CEO and SWEEP In-charge Officer Hemendra Nagar. The Chief Guest for the occasion was ADJ Kuldeep Sharma, while the Special Guests included ADM City War Singh, Dr. Ashok Bairwa, Joint Director of the Statistics Department Punit Sharma, Technical Director of NIC Mazhar Hussain, and Dr. Piyush Bhandari.

District Panchayat CEO Nagar emphasized the importance of voting and called on every individual to fulfill their responsibility towards democracy. ADM City highlighted the innovations introduced by the Election Department and administered an oath to all the aware voters to perform their duty towards democracy. Chief Planning Officer Mahavir Prasad Verma welcomed the guests and highlighted the objectives of the event.

A cultural performance on the theme "Vote for India" was presented by the students of St. Anthony's Balco, while a classical dance performance was given by Devshri Dixit from St. Mary's School. Technical Director of NIC Mazhar Hussain provided information about the Voter Helpline App and the online processes related to voters. During the event, around 150 employees and officers from various departments, as well as students and distinguished individuals involved in voter awareness activities, were honored with appreciation certificates.

The event was attended by officials and staff from various departments, students from private and government schools in the city, and community members participating in voter awareness programs. The program was conducted by Dr. Devilal Garg, and the vote of thanks was delivered by Lav Parik.
