On the first death anniversary of the renowned freedom fighter Late Manohar Lal Audichya, various events were organized at Garba Chowk in Brahmpuri. Pankaj Kumar Sharma, Convenor of Mahatma Gandhi Life Vision and General Secretary & Spokesperson of the State Congress Committee, paid floral tributes by draping the tricolour garland, placing the tricolour scarf, and offering flowers on his portrait.
While offering the floral tribute, Sharma highlighted Audichya's life and contributions, sharing his messages and memories. He said that Audichya was a personality who made significant contributions to the Indian freedom struggle. After independence, he served in the Public Works Department of the Rajasthan Government. He retired in 1980 as the Superintendent of the department’s office, but continued to serve both the department and society in various ways. On several occasions, including the 150th birth anniversary celebrations of Mahatma Gandhi, the state government honored him with mementoes, copper plaques, and shawls.
Sharma also mentioned that Audichya's ideals and moral values will be absorbed by the upcoming generations, and his valuable contributions to society and the nation will always be remembered. On this occasion, various speakers expressed their thoughts and recounted Audichya’s contributions. The air was filled with slogans of "Bharat Mata Ki Jai," "Vande Mataram," and "Manohar Lal Audichya Amar Rahe."
The event was attended by Audichya's family members and several dignitaries, including Usha Sharma, Lokesh Trivedi, Arun Acharya, Dilip Vyas, Satya Vallabh Dave, Mahesh Datt Garg, Kishan Vyas, and others.
