Gwalior, The Chancellor of Vikrant University, Mr. Rakesh Singh Rathore, unveiled the jersey for the university's upcoming intramural sports competition "Kwarth 2025." This event was attended by senior officials and students of the university, who expressed their enthusiasm for the success of this competition.
In his address, Chancellor Rakesh Singh Rathore stated, "The purpose of 'Kwarth 2025' is not only to bring forth the talents of students through sports and cultural programs but also to provide a healthy competitive environment that will help them succeed in various aspects of life."
Vice Chancellor Prof. Amarika Singh emphasized that sports and cultural competitions are vital for the overall development of students. These activities not only promote physical fitness but also foster mental growth and teamwork.
Pro Chancellor Vikrant Singh Rathore mentioned that "Kwarth 2025" will create an excellent platform for university students to showcase their sporting and artistic talents, while also enhancing their other abilities.
Director of Sports Dr. Kuldeep Singh Jhala shared that a comprehensive plan will be implemented to promote sports and cultural activities within the university. He believes that such events strengthen students' social and mental capabilities.
Chief Coordinator Dr. Anand Singh informed that the competition will take place from 10th to 15th February 2025, featuring a mix of sports and cultural activities. Various teams will represent different schools within the university, including:
Vikrant Royals – Vikrant School of Management and Commerce
Vikrant Titans – School of Legal Studies, Agriculture Science, Humanities and Culture
Vikrant Giants – School of Engineering and Technology (CS and IT) and Computer Applications
Vikrant Warriors – School of Natural and Applied Sciences, Library Science, Pharmacy, and Engineering and Technical
The event was coordinated by Dr. V Narayan, who provided detailed information about the competition and encouraged all students to actively participate.
During the jersey launch event, the team managers, captains, and players from various clubs were also present.
