Meeting of Vipra Senior Citizen Group 'Mewar' Concludes
Udaipur: A meeting of the Vipra Senior Citizen Group 'Mewar' was held at the Shri Sandeshwar Mahadev Temple, Ashok Nagar. The event was presided over by the group’s president, Lakshmikant Joshi, with K.K. Sharma, National General Secretary of Vipra Foundation, as the Chief Guest. Distinguished guests included Krishnakant Sharma, National General Secretary of VIKKI, former Central Labor Commissioner Satish Joshi, Prem Shankar Upadhyay, Dr. S.L. Menaria, and Sunil Vashishta.
The meeting began with a warm welcome for the attendees, followed by a detailed address by President Lakshmikant Joshi, who discussed the group’s activities and future plans. It was decided that monthly meetings would be held on the last Sunday of each month, during which members celebrating birthdays or anniversaries that month would be honored with a ceremonial lunch.
Other key decisions included organizing a visit to a cow shelter and a sports competition at a resort. Representatives Amit Sarupria and Ashish Sarupria were invited to provide details about planned international travel opportunities for members.
In this month’s meeting, members celebrating their birthdays — Rajendra Sanadhya, Mahesh Sharma, Manju Tripathi, and Anand Trivedi — were honored with garlands, turbans, and shawls. The ceremony also included chanting of the Gayatri Mantra and Swasti Vachan.
Prominent attendees included Himmatlal Nagda, Rajendra Sanadhya, Om Nandwana, Kailash Acharya, Sunil Vashishta, Hemant Trivedi, Aditya Pandey, Suresh Sharma, Harish Trivedi, Yashwant Pandey, Madhusudan Paliwal, Dharanidhar Tiwari, Rajendra Sharma, Mohanlal Paliwal, Ganeshlal Nagda, Subhash Nagla, and others. Women members like Kusum Sharma, Chanda Audichya, Chandrakanta Menaria, Manju Tripathi, Shashi Nagda, and Neelam Sanadhya also actively participated and shared their thoughts.
The meeting was moderated by Dinesh Sukhwal, with a vote of thanks delivered by Om Nandwana.
