GYAN SHAKTI THINK TANK IN COLLABORATION WITH CUTS INTERNATIONAL ORGANISED SEMINAR ON “INDIA’S JOURNEY: CHARTING THE PATH TO A VIKSIT BHARAT”
Jaipur, Gyan Shakti think tank of Sapta Shakti command in collaboration with consumer utility Trust Society (CUTS International) conducted an enriching seminar on “India’s Journey: Charting the path to a Viksit Bharat,” on 17 Jan 2025 at Jaipur Military Station. The Seminar conducted under the guidance of Lieutenant General Manjinder Singh, Army Commander, South Western Command, focused on concerted efforts of military, academia, government and other stakeholders towards Viksit Bharat.
Eminent Economists and visionary Mr. Pradeep S Mehta, Secretary General, CUTS International delivered an insightful talk on the contemporary subject. He highlighted the extraordinary journey of India towards reaching at the pedestal of world’s fifth largest economy. He also reiterated on the convergence of various domains including development of Human capital, Economic reforms, Green growth and social infrastructure are essential to achieve this vision. The deliberations also focused on the implementation strategy and requirement of social cohesion and cooperation aligned to the theme of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwash and Sabka Prayas. An exhaustive question answer sessions followed the talk and thoughtprovoking aspects with reference to the path of the development and nurture of Viksit Bharat being envisaged were touched upon.
Army Commander also addressed the audience and shared his insight on the subject. He alluded that cohesive efforts in defence and technological domains areessential for reaching the vision of Viksit Bharat. He also exhorted the role of serving military personnel and veterans towards nation building. Army Commander also highlighted the impetus being given by the Government of India towards the holistic development and that a whole of nation approach is the need of the time for this vision of Viksit Bharat 204
