Udaipur's Republic Day Celebration to Set an Example, Work Should Be Done with Micro-Planning: District Collector

Udaipur. District Collector Arvind Poswal said that it is a matter of pride for Udaipur to host the state-level Republic Day celebrations. The event should be organized in such a dignified and well-structured manner that the Udaipur model is remembered for years to come. For this, it is crucial that every officer and employee performs their duties with full dedication.

On Saturday, the District Collector was reviewing the preparations for the state-level Republic Day ceremony in the District Council Hall. He emphasized the need for micro-planning, similar to the "zero-error" approach used in elections, to ensure everything is perfectly organized for the event. District Superintendent of Police Yogesh Goyal mentioned that organizing such a national event is of great significance, and there should be no room for mistakes. Comprehensive security arrangements are being made for the state-level celebration, and it is essential that everything is pre-planned to avoid any inconvenience.

The meeting was attended by ADM Administration Deependra Singh Rathore, ADM City War Singh, UDA Commissioner Rahul Jain, Girwa SDM Riya Dabi, DIG Stamp Rajeev Dwivedi, Land Management Officer Kirti Rathore, UDA OSD Jitendra Ojha, ACEO Smart City K.P. Singh Chauhan, ASP Umesh Ojha, Gopal Swaroop Mewada, and officers from various departments.

**Detailed Review and Instructions**

The District Collector inquired about the preparations for various aspects of the main ceremony, including the arrival of the Honorable Governor and Chief Minister, seating arrangements, flag hoisting, march-past, band performances, cultural presentations, tableaux displays, announcements, and the entry and exit of guests, students, and the public at Gandhi Ground. He also gave necessary directions to the concerned officers. Additionally, he reviewed the arrangements for the proposed 'At Home' event at Saheliyon Ki Badi at 4 PM on 25th January, and the cultural evening at Fatehsagar Pal at 6 PM, giving specific instructions to the relevant officials.

**Site Visits**

After the meeting, the District Collector and SP Goyal, along with their team, visited Gandhi Ground to inspect the ongoing rehearsals. They reviewed the seating arrangements for VVIPs, invited guests, and media, as well as the march-past route and timings, seating arrangements for students before and after cultural performances, and the entry and exit of tableaux. They provided necessary directions for these aspects.

Subsequently, they visited Fatehsagar Pal, where they reviewed the arrangements for the cultural evening, including stage setup, VVIP seating, and public seating. The officials were instructed to make appropriate arrangements. The District Collector and SP also visited Saheliyon Ki Badi, where they checked seating arrangements for VVIPs and invited guests during the 'At Home' event, catering services, and the location for the group photo session.
