Inner Wheel Divas Celebrated Makar Sankranti with Tribal School Children
Games and Competitions Organized for Children
Udaipur: Inner Wheel Club of Udaipur Divas celebrated Makar Sankranti with tribal children at the Government Primary School, Nal Ka Bhilwara, in Badgaon. Club President Nayana Jain shared that the members explained the significance of Makar Sankranti to the children and organized various sports and games within the school premises.
The children were gifted sports equipment, jaggery and sesame sweets, kites, spinning tops, biscuits, wafers, chocolates, and other snacks to mark the festival. Prizes were distributed to children who secured first, second, and third positions in the competitions to encourage their enthusiasm.
The children participated with great excitement and energy. The event was supported by the school head, Nirupama Chordia, and teachers Sanju Porwal and Surendra Singh. Akshaya Patra Foundation's Chief Distribution Officer, Abhinav Sen, Rekha Bhanawat, Anjana Duggad, Shashi Mehta, and school staff were also present on the occasion.
