Udaipur: Aishwarya College celebrated Makar Sankranti by organizing traditional games that brought great enthusiasm among students. The event featured games such as kabaddi, tug-of-war, sitoliya, musical chairs, kite flying, kho-kho, and barf-pani, which added excitement to the celebrations.
Club Secretary and student Pranjal Mogra highlighted that Makar Sankranti is a festival of joy in Indian culture, and traditional games held on this occasion help maintain our connection with cultural heritage. Students like Priyal Joshi, Mahaveer Vaishnav, Neha Nayak, Rakshita Jain, Priyanshi Vyas, Jaya Dangi, Yashi Jain, Khushi Parekh, Shubham Dangi, Yogesh Suthar, Sarika Jain, and Bhargav Vaishnav participated with great enthusiasm.
The students exchanged greetings and distributed sweets like jaggery and sesame among their peers and teachers to celebrate the festival. Principal Dr. Ritu Paliwal extended her wishes to all and encouraged students to engage in such traditional games, emphasizing their importance in understanding India's rich and glorious culture.
