Udaipur: Makarsankranti, the auspicious festival of charity and virtue, was celebrated with enthusiasm and joy at Bhupal Nobles Public School on Tuesday, 14th January 2025. Principal Dr. Seema Naruka informed that during the morning prayer assembly, various programs related to the festival of Makar Sankranti and the celebration of Lohri were presented. Students highlighted the significance of the festival through speeches, poems, and songs. Teachers also shared stories related to Makar Sankranti and Lohri, emphasizing the relevance of these festivals in the present time.
On this occasion, the school organized a Sundarkand Path at the Hanuman temple located within the campus, in which students and teachers participated with devotion. Dr. Naruka mentioned that such rituals help in the development of moral, spiritual, and human qualities in students.
The ritual was attended by the institution’s Minister Dr. Mahendra Singh Agarwal, Managing Director Mohabbat Singh Rupa Khedi, Joint Secretary Rajendra Singh Tana, Registrar Dr. Niranjan Narayan Singh, and School President Hanumant Singh Boheda, who extended their best wishes for the successful organization of the event.
Similarly, Makar Sankranti was celebrated with deep reverence at other branches of the institution, where traditional games like Satoliya, kite flying, and the distribution of sesame-based delicacies as prasad were enjoyed.
