21st Vice Chancellor Sports Tournament Dominated by Administration Team

Udaipur, January 8, 2025. The 21st Vice Chancellor Sports Tournament, jointly organized by the Central Non-Teaching Employees' Union of Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology (MPUAT) and the Non-Teaching Employees Welfare Committee of the College of Technology and Engineering (CTAE), Udaipur, witnessed an eventful second day with various sports competitions held at the CTAE sports ground.

The administration team showcased remarkable dominance in all games conducted on the second day. Principal of CTAE, Dr. Pankaj Upadhyay, shared the following results of the matches:

  1. Volleyball:

    • The joint team of CDFT-CCAS-CCPC defeated the Directorate of Extension by 2-0.
    • RCA defeated Bhilwara, CTAE triumphed over Banswara, and the Administration team beat the Land Resources office.
    • In the next round, RCA defeated the joint CDFT-CCAS-CCPC team. The Administration team, maintaining its dominance, defeated both CTAE and RCA.
  2. Basketball:

    • RCA beat the Land Resources office 15-0.
    • The Administration team defeated Banswara 10-0.
    • CDFT-CCAS-CCPC defeated the Directorate of Extension, and CTAE won against Bhilwara with a score of 16-0.
  3. Football:

    • The Administration team defeated the Directorate of Extension.
    • CTAE claimed victory over Bhilwara with a 2-0 score.
  4. Kabaddi:

    • The joint team of CDFT-CCAS-CCPC defeated the Land Resources office 28-5.
    • In the second round, Bhilwara beat Banswara 25-23.
    • RCA overcame CTAE 31-23, and the Administration team defeated the Directorate of Extension 29-10, securing their dominance.

The second day saw dignitaries like Dr. Lokesh Gupta, Dean of CDFT, and Dr. S.K. Khandelwal, Assistant Registrar, visiting the sports ground to encourage the participating employees.

Program Coordinator and Welfare President of CTAE, Gitesh Jain, announced that the third day would feature the semifinals of volleyball, basketball, football, and kabaddi, along with league and semifinal matches of table tennis and badminton.
