Udaipur: The "Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat Camp" has been organized by the NCC Directorate Rajasthan under the leadership of the Udaipur Group Headquarters. The camp, being held from December 23, 2024, to January 3, 2025, is hosted by the 5 Raj Girls Battalion NCC at the Bhupal Noble Institute campus. A total of 150 cadets from the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Directorate, along with 450 cadets from the Udaipur, Kota, Jodhpur, and Jaipur divisions of the Rajasthan Directorate, are participating in the camp.
The primary objective of the camp is to provide an opportunity for cadets from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, as well as Rajasthan, to share and experience each other's art, culture, attire, food, and language. During the 12-day camp, the cadets from Andhra Pradesh will get an educational tour of Udaipur, exploring major landmarks like Gulab Bagh, City Palace, Saheliyon Ki Bari, and the Pratap Gaurav Center. They will also be introduced to the history of Mewar and the life of Maharana Pratap through a documentary film.
In the inauguration ceremony, Camp Commandant Lieutenant Colonel Manmohan Singh Rawat warmly welcomed all the cadets and staff members from other states. He also gave instructions to the cadets to follow the discipline and adhere to the prescribed training schedule of the camp.
The Camp Commandant emphasized that this camp would be a memorable and educational experience for everyone involved. On this occasion, all the officers from the Udaipur Group Headquarters, Associate NCC Officers, Girls Cadet Instructors, and staff were present. In the evening, the Camp Commandant held a conference with the staff, where they were briefed about the upcoming competitions and educational tours planned for the camp.
