Nature Test for Students and Faculty Members Under 'National Nature Training Program' at B.N. University

Udaipur: A nature test for students and faculty members was conducted under the "National Nature Training Program" at Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya Ayurveda College, Udaipur, in collaboration with the Panchakarma Department and Bhupal Nobles Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, B.N. College of Pharmacy, and Faculty of Agriculture. 

The event was organized under the guidance of the Acting President of the Institute, Colonel Prof. Shiv Singh Sarangdevot, Minister of Vidyapracharini Sabha, Dr. Mahendra Singh Agarwal, Managing Director of B.N. Institute, Mohabbat Singh Rupakhedi, and the University's Registrar, Dr. N.N. Singh Khod. The students and staff were tested as part of the ongoing "Nature Test Campaign" in India, led by the team from Madan Mohan Malviya Rajasthan Ayurveda College.

Dr. Dilip Singh, Dean of B.N. Agricultural College, mentioned that the nature test for students and faculty was conducted under the leadership of Prof. Mahesh Dixit, Principal of Madan Mohan Malviya Ayurveda College, along with Prof. Ramkumar Bhamu, Dr. Shanti Lal, and Dr. Nawal Gurjar from the Department of Kaumarbhritya (Pediatrics). The nature and temperament of each student and staff member were assessed under Ayurveda's principles. Based on the evaluation, they were advised on lifestyle practices that would help in maintaining both physical and mental health.

The nature testing involved various faculty members from the Panchakarma Department, including Dr. Rampal Chaudhary, Dr. Mamta, Dr. Ghanshyam Beriwal, Dr. Usha, Dr. Shalini, and Dr. Sanju, as well as Dr. M.S. Ranawat, Dr. S.S. Sisodia, Dr. Jai Singh Waghela, Dr. Bhupendra Vyas, Dr. Rajat Vaishnav, Dr. Komal Sharma, Dr. Amit Bhargav, and Pradeep Chundawat from the Pharmaceutical Faculty. During the test, the medical examiners asked participants various questions related to their health, and certificates of their nature assessments were issued based on the results.

Before the program, Dr. Chetan Singh Chauhan, Principal of B.N.I.P.S., discussed with the Ayurveda team from Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya Ayurveda College regarding joint research in Ayurveda and Pharmacy. He emphasized that after the Panchakarma treatment, it is essential to assess various parameters regularly and statistically to understand its benefits. 

Around 125 participants took part in this program, which was sponsored by the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India. Through this program, participants were informed about their health nature and given advice on what kind of diet to follow and what steps to take to remain healthy during seasonal changes. 

Dr. Fatehlal Sharma, Assistant Dean of Student Welfare, B.N. Agricultural College, mentioned that the national nature test campaign brings Ayurveda closer to every individual. Therefore, those students who haven't been tested yet will also be tested in the future. Dr. P.S. Rao, In-charge of the National Service Scheme, highlighted the importance of maintaining good health along with studies and emphasized the necessity of proper diet and exercise for every student. 

The program was coordinated by Miss Preksha Nagar, and the information was provided by the Public Relations Officer, Dr. Kamal Singh Rathore.
