Udaipur Congress Organizes Joint "Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Honor March" Today

Udaipur, The Udaipur Rural District Congress Spokesperson, Dr. Sanjeev Rajpurohit, announced that a joint "Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Honor March" is being organized today by the Udaipur City and Rural District Congress Committees. The march is a response to an allegedly objectionable and disrespectful remark made by Union Home Minister Amit Shah regarding Bharat Ratna Dr. B.R. Ambedkar.

The march began with a garlanding ceremony at Dr. Ambedkar's statue at Court Chauraha and will proceed to the District Collector's office. A memorandum addressed to the Honorable President of India will be submitted through the District Collector, demanding the resignation of Amit Shah.

The event is witnessing participation from AICC members, PCC members, state-level Congress officials, MPs, former MPs, MLAs, former MLAs, district presidents, block and mandal officials, local representatives including municipal chairpersons, councilors, former councilors, senior Congress members, and representatives of various affiliated organizations such as Youth Congress, Mahila Congress, NSUI, and Seva Dal. Panchayat representatives, including sarpanches and deputy sarpanches, are also participating to show their solidarity.

This march, conducted under the directives of the All India Congress Committee (AICC) and the Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee (RPCC), aims to honor the legacy of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and oppose any disrespectful remarks made against him.
