Udaipur, the city of lakes, will host a unique event for music, literature, and theatre enthusiasts on Sunday, December 15. The event, a Sneh Milan (Friendship Meeting) Ceremony, will take place at Ashoka Palace starting at 11:00 AM, under the joint supervision of Suron Ki Mandali, Lafzon Ki Mehfil, and Rangmanch.
The highlight of this event will be the participation of approximately 500 members from three WhatsApp groups, who, despite being unknown to each other, share a deep passion for music and art. For the first time, they will meet on this platform and expand their connections.
The event is being termed as Udaipur’s first "Stranger Meet," aiming to connect participants through various forms of music, literature, and art. Mukesh Madhvani, the founder of the organizations, shared that the event will feature diverse cultural performances, including music, theatre, and poetry readings. Participants will have the chance to engage with one another through art and culture.
Mukesh Madhvani stated, “This is the first time we are organizing such an event where people connected to music, literature, and art, who have not yet met each other, will come together on a single platform. The goal is to unite individuals dedicated to every form of art and guide them in new directions. Attendees will not only experience a magnificent cultural program but will also exchange new friendships and ideas.”
Event coordinator Pt. Purushottam Shakdvipiya “Premi” mentioned that this event will serve as a symbol of a fresh start for Udaipur’s art and culture scene before the new year, and similar events will be organized regularly.
