Udaipur: The Rajasthan Livelihoods Development Council (Rajeevika) and UNICEF have jointly launched the *'Pehchaan'* program to boost self-esteem and self-confidence among adolescents. The program aims to ensure that children move forward in life with confidence, free from discrimination based on gender, color, or physical appearance, and are empowered to pursue their dreams.
The *'Pehchaan'* program is being implemented as a pilot project in the Badgaon and Khorabod blocks of Udaipur district. Training sessions are being organized from November 18 to November 27 at the cluster level by Rajeevika. So far, training has been conducted at the Sawera Cluster in Paldi, Badgaon, and the Maharana Pratap Cluster in Kavita. The program is being implemented under the guidance of Khayalilal Khatik, District Program Officer of Rajeevika, and Zamir Anwar, State Advisor of UNICEF. Additionally, district SBC coordinator Mrs. Yashi Paliwal and her team members, including Chandrakanta Paliwal, Kesar Paliwal, Laluram Bheel, Arvind Verma, along with Rajeevika’s cadre Preeti Soni and Hema Gameti, have contributed to the success of the program.
