Udaipur. The Rajasthan Social Service Institute's campaign to distribute sweaters to needy children in government schools of Udaipur district commenced on Wednesday. The institute’s team began the initiative by distributing sweaters to 56 children in two government schools. The children quickly wore their new sweaters and expressed their happiness.
Yugal Kishore Joshi, a member of the institute's service team, shared that on Wednesday, a total of 56 sweaters were distributed at two government schools: Rajkiya Prathmik Vidyalaya, Ferrniyon Ka Ghuda-Second (Bhils' Basti) and Rajkiya Prathmik Vidyalaya, Ferrniyon Ka Ghuda-First in the Badgaon Panchayat Samiti area.
Institute President Devendra Sharma stated that the institute had distributed 500 sweaters last year, and this year, they aim to distribute over 500 sweaters to school children to protect them from the cold. Teachers at both schools appreciated the initiative, emphasizing that with the arrival of the winter season, receiving sweaters will help ensure that children can attend school comfortably throughout the season without the discomfort of cold weather.
