Udaipur, The Lake Development Committee's meeting was held on Tuesday at the mini auditorium of the Collectorate under the chairmanship of District Collector Arvind Poswal. During the meeting, the proposals prepared by the Water Resources Department for the conservation of Badi Talab and Bada Madar Talab were approved. Instructions were also given to prepare proposals for the conservation of new ponds.
In the meeting, Municipal Corporation Commissioner and Secretary of the Committee, Ramprakash, discussed the proposals for the conservation and development of Badi Talab and Bada Madar Talab, which were prepared by the Water Resources Department, based on decisions made in the previous meeting as per the instructions of the Lake Development Authority. The proposals were unanimously approved by District Collector Poswal and the committee members. The District Collector directed that the proposals be sent to the Lake Development Authority for further action.
The meeting also discussed the conservation of other water bodies in the city and district, and proposals were directed to be prepared for the conservation and development of Lakhawali, Chhota Madar, Govardhan Sagar, Jogi Talab, Daya, and Som Kagdar Talabs. The meeting covered other important points, and necessary directions were provided.
Present at the meeting were ACEO District Council Anjum Tahir Samma, Executive Engineer of Water Resources Department Manoj Jain, Executive Engineer Rameshchandra Chauradia, Deputy Director of Tourism Shikha Saxena, Deputy Director of Fisheries Department Dr. Aqeel Ahmed, Executive Engineer (Mechanical) of Municipal Corporation Lakhanlal Bairwa, DTP Sirajuddin, UDA AEN Rahul Chanderia, and SSO of Pollution Control Board Kunjbihari Paliwal, along with other officials.
