62 Children Awarded at the Conclusion of the Children's Literature Fair

Kota,  The Children's Literature Fair, organized over the past one and a half months in connection with Children's Day, concluded on Sunday at Ashray Bhavan, Shri Karni Nagar Vikas Samiti. During the closing ceremony, 62 students from various educational institutions in Kota and Baran districts were awarded certificates and literature for securing the top three positions in literary competitions. Additionally, four top poets in children's poetry writing were honored. The event was organized by the Culture, Literature, Media Forum, and Kesari Kavya Manch.

Speaking at the event, the guests emphasized that this first-ever initiative in Hadoti to connect children with literature and foster interest in it is a commendable effort. The event saw not only the participation of writers, teachers, and children but also the involvement of parents, making it a collaborative endeavor. They stressed the importance of organizing such events regularly to nurture children's interest in literature. These views were expressed by the chief guest, poet Rameshwar Sharma 'Ramu Bhaiya,' and the event's president, Jitendra 'Nirmohi.' Special guests, Dr. Deepak Srivastava, Divisional Head of the Government Public Library, and Dr. Preeti Meena, also shared their thoughts. Poet Vijay Joshi entertained the audience with a song, while student Govind presented his self-composed poem, bringing laughter to all.

Forum Coordinator Dr. Prabhat Kumar Singhal, while conducting the event, shared that over 5,000 children from 18 educational institutions have directly participated in literary activities through this initiative. Senior forum member Kishan Ratnani expressed gratitude. The ceremony began with guests lighting a lamp in front of Maa Saraswati.

Honoring the Poets:

In addition to the children's awards, four poets who secured the top positions in the Children's Poetry Writing competition were also honored: Yogiraj Yogi, Archana Sharma, Alpana Garg, and Sanju Shringi. Several contributing writers who played an active role in organizing the event were also recognized. These included Dr. Himani Bhatia, Dr. Aparna Pandey, Dr. Indu Bala Sharma, Dr. Vaidehi Gautam, Dr. Preeti Meena, Vijay Sharma, Snehlata Sharma, Manju Kumari, Mahesh Pancholi, Vijay Joshi, and Rekha Pancholi.

This event marked a significant step in fostering a love for literature among children and encouraging them to actively participate in literary activities.
