Udaipur: The Regional Level National Group Song Competition, organized by Bharat Vikas Parishad, was held at the new auditorium of Rajasthan College of Agriculture in Udaipur. The event was conducted under the auspices of the South Rajasthan Region and Udaipur Branch.
Inaugural Session and Guest Addresses
The event was inaugurated with the lighting of the lamp before the image of Lord Jhulelal, with the presence of several dignitaries and office bearers from various branches. The program was chaired by Shri Suresh Jain, National Organizing Secretary of Bharat Vikas Parishad, and Dr. Ajit Kumar, Vice Chancellor of Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology, Karnataka. The closing session was addressed by BH Bafna, founder of Mewar Politics, as the chief guest. Regional President Dr. Tribhuvan Sharma, Regional Secretary CA Sandeep Baldi, National Observer Santosh Gupta, National Project Member, Provincial President Girish Panei, Program Coordinator BL Khamesra, and Branch President Santosh Jain were also present on the stage.
Welcoming the Participants
The meeting began with a welcome address by Girish Panei, the Provincial President, who extended a warm welcome to all the guests. Dr. Tribhuvan Sharma, Regional President, highlighted the significance and objectives of the competition, wishing all participants the best and boosting their morale. Dr. Ajit Kumar, Vice Chancellor, praised Bharat Vikas Parishad’s efforts in promoting values and social upliftment through initiatives like this, stressing the importance of such patriotic competitions to guide society in the right direction. He encouraged the youth to respect their country and keep their love and reverence for India intact.
Second Session: Cultural Performances
In the second session, teams from seven regions participated in the Hindi Group Song, Sanskrit Group Song, and Folk Song competitions, showcasing remarkable performances that captivated the audience.
Details of the Competitions
CA Sandeep Baldi, Regional Secretary, explained that the Hindi Group Song, Sanskrit Group Song, and Folk Song competitions were held at the school and provincial levels, involving over 750 schools and 7,000 students across the country. The winning teams from seven provinces participated in the regional competition, each team consisting of eight students and three musicians.
Closing Session and Awards
In the closing session, Shri Suresh Jain, National Minister, spoke about the positive impact of Bharat Vikas Parishad's projects on society and emphasized that volunteers should work with dedication in fields like service, values, communication, women’s participation, and the environment, contributing to nation-building.
The judges for the competition included Dr. Rajneesh Chauran Raghav from Ajmer, Mrs. Anita Shaktavat from Jodhpur, and Mr. Mohan Bhatnagar from Udaipur, who made impartial decisions based on the performances.
