An exhibition on the life of Guru Nanak Dev, marking his 555th birth anniversary, was organized by the Department of Visual Arts at Bhupal Nobles Postgraduate College. On this occasion, students created artwork depicting various aspects of Guru Nanak Dev's life. Dr. Renu Rathore, the Principal of the college, mentioned that the event was organized under the guidance of Dr. Kanchan Ranawat, the head of the department, and highlighted the exceptional artistic talent displayed by the students.
The exhibition particularly focused on depicting Guru Nanak Dev's life, his travels (Udasis), and his ideals. From a young age, Guru Nanak Dev was deeply devoted to God, always serving others and being greatly influenced by saints. Although he initially settled into family life as per his father's wishes, he could not remain in it for long. At the age of 37, he set out to spread the message of God and religion to the people. Eventually, he founded Sikhism in the 15th century, a faith centered on one God and the teachings of the Gurus. His five Udasi journeys across India are an integral part of his life and teachings.
The students who participated in the program included Dinesh Wagriya, Gaurav Singh Sisodia, Kuldeep Singh Deora, Ritu Deb, Surendra Singh Panwar, Surendra Singh Deora, and Bharat Dhakad, among others. On this occasion, the university's chairperson, Colonel Prof. Shiv Singh Sarangdevot, President Dr. Mahendra Singh Agarwal, Managing Director Mohabbat Singh Roopakhedi, and Registrar Dr. N. N. Singh Rathore extended their best wishes to all the students.
