Dr. Sanyam Jyoti and Others Bid Farewell to Chaturmas with Emotional Renditions of Separation Songs

Udaipur: A heartfelt farewell ceremony for Dr. Sanyam Jyoti M.Sa., Sanyam Gunashree, and Sanyam Sakshishree M.Sa. was held today at the Shri Jain Shwetambar Vasupujya Maharaj Temple Trust's private event in Surajpole, outside Dadabadi. The event, organized by the trust, featured a series of emotional renditions of Virah (separation) songs, which deeply moved the attending devotees, leaving many with teary eyes.

In his address, Dr. Sanyam Jyoti emphasized the importance of self-reflection, urging everyone to evaluate themselves and their position in life. He mentioned that if people keep the question "Where am I?" in mind, their consciousness will awaken. He also suggested that during the Chaturmas (monsoon retreat), any mistakes or misunderstandings should be forgiven and left behind, moving forward with positivity. He further stated that a strong leader in any society or nation leads to comprehensive development.

Sanyam Sakshishree M.Sa. shared her thoughts on living with enthusiasm and practical wisdom. She encouraged the audience to internalize the teachings received during the four-month Chaturmas period and apply them to their lives for a fulfilling existence.

The chief guest, Udaipur MLA Tarachand Jain, spoke about the importance of living a virtuous life with pure food and giving up root vegetables. He highlighted that the merit accumulated in life helps us overcome crises. Kamal Vardia, visiting from Pali, spoke about the importance of shedding worldly attachments and embracing simplicity, expressing that our hearts should yearn to leave worldly possessions behind. He also presented a Virah song, "Na Jaao Guruvar Aaj, O Naina Roye, Guruvar Ki Yaad Sataye," which resonated deeply with the audience.

Subhash Mahatma emphasized that without the thirst for religion, we cannot experience its true joy. Dr. Manju Chaudhary presented a devotional song, "Hum Ko Tum Bha Gaye, Tum Hriday Par Chha Gaye, O Mere Guruvar..." that touched the hearts of all present.

Other speakers included Vandana Nahar, Nikhil, Mahavir Swadhyay Samiti’s President Prakash Kothari, Veerendra, Anil Patwa, Anita Patwa, Vinita Kothari, Kamal Vardia, Kuldeep Nahar, Rajendra, Sangeeta, and Maya Siroya, who shared their thoughts on the event. Young children Vihaan Chaudhary, Yuvan Kothari, Sakshi, and Vaishali also presented songs during the ceremony.

Trustee Raj Lodha acknowledged the impact of the teachings shared during the Chaturmas period, mentioning that the discourses on various topics helped everyone understand their duties and responsibilities. He expressed the hope that everyone would continue to receive the blessings of the M.Sa. forever.

Vasupujya Bhakt Mandal’s Pratibha Surana also presented a song, "Guruvar Vidai Ka Yeh Pal Kyon Aaya Hai..." while Maya Siroya from Khatargachh Mahila Parishad also performed a song.

Poet Prakash Nagauri remarked that the four months of teachings by the Sadhvi Vrand helped inspire attendees to reflect on their life’s direction, urging them to assess how much they had followed the path of religion.

The event was conducted by Prakash Nagauri, and the ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks by Shailendra Lodha.
