Green Kanha Run to Take Place at Fatehsagar on Sunday Morning
Udaipur, To raise awareness about tree plantation, the Heartfulness Institute will host the Green Heartfulness Run on Sunday, November 17, 2024, at 7:00 AM at Fatehsagar Lake. Dr. Rakesh Dashora, the in-charge of the Heartfulness Center, shared that at a time when discussions around climate change and carbon footprints are intensifying, the Green Heartfulness Run will be one of the most timely events to promote climate awareness.
It is noteworthy that over 200 registrations have already been received in Udaipur alone, and more than 18,000 registrations have been made across India for this event. Participants can register under three categories: ₹149, ₹399, and ₹599.
Mrs. Madhu Mehta, Regional Head of Heartfulness, informed that the run is supported by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India. After the run, participants will receive certificates, snacks, T-shirts, and medals. Deepak Menaria, Youth Wing In-charge, mentioned that all participants and Heartfulness practitioners will gather at the Devali side of Fatehsagar Lake at 7:00 AM, and the run will commence at 7:30 AM.
Those who have not registered yet are also invited to join the event. After the run, a light breakfast and a Heartfulness meditation session will be held at the Vidyabhavan Center at 9:00 AM.
Participants are advised to wear canvas shoes, trousers, and T-shirts for the run.
