Three-Day Festival Celebrating the Prakash Purab of Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj in Udaipur

Udaipur: A three-day celebration marking the Prakash Purab (birthday) of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj was organized at Vaikunth Dham, Shaktinagar, Udaipur. The event began on November 13 and attracted a large number of devotees who participated with great faith and reverence. The main activities included the continuous recitation of the Guru Granth Sahib, Akhand Path of Japji Sahib, and various sacred recitations of Gurubani.

On the second day, November 14, the event continued with a series of religious activities. The day began with the Asadiwar Path at 7:00 AM, followed by the Kartik Katha at 7:30 AM. In the afternoon, a devotional satsang for women took place from 5:00 to 6:30 PM, after which the evening Arti ceremony was held at 7:00 PM.

The final day, November 15, will mark the conclusion of the three-day festival. The schedule includes the Asadiwar Path at 7:00 AM, Kartik Katha at 7:45 AM, and the Arti and Ardas ceremony at 11:00 AM. The festivities will conclude with a Langar (community meal), where all devotees will partake in Prasad.

Guruji Shailesh Brijwani of Vaikunth Dham shared that the festival saw a heartfelt participation from all attendees, who took the opportunity to imbibe the teachings of Gurubani. The spiritual ambiance provided everyone with a sense of inner peace and spiritual purification.
