On Thursday, the local St. Anthony's School celebrated Children's Day on the occasion of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru's birth anniversary. The students of the school presented a variety of performances as part of the event.
Media In-charge Vikas Sahu informed that the chief guest of the program, Principal William D'Souza, in his address, expressed Pandit Nehru's love for children. He also briefed the students about Nehru's significant contributions to India's independence.
During the celebration, students presented various dances, poems, and essays. The program was chaired by Vice-Principal Jaisy D'Souza.
School Coordinator Siddhant D'Souza mentioned that, in addition to the cultural performances, a science exhibition was organized, where over 300 students showcased a variety of models. Many parents took the opportunity to explore the exhibition. Vikas Sahu provided this information.
