Mahendra Singh Mewar was the eldest son of Maharana Bhagwat Singh Mewar and a prominent political figure who served as a Member of Parliament in the Lok Sabha. He was a descendant of Maharana Pratap and held significant cultural and leadership roles in Mewar, including serving as the Diwan of Eklingji and representing Mewar as its Maharana.
Prof. Sarangdevot paid tribute to Mahendra Singh Mewar, calling him an embodiment of Indian culture and values. He described Mahendra Singh as a man who always upheld the principles and ideals of Maharana Pratap, advocating for cultural, spiritual, and national ideologies. He added that Mahendra Singh Mewar was a staunch protector of eternal values, consistently supporting the harmonious blending of ancient traditions with modern advancements.
Prof. Sarangdevot highlighted Mahendra Singh's contributions to society, especially his efforts in promoting the use of computer knowledge for the benefit of the community. Known for his expertise in technology, Mahendra Singh actively worked to increase public awareness and encourage the practical application of computers in social development.
"His departure leaves a void in Mewar and the entire nation," said Prof. Sarangdevot. "He will always be remembered as a symbol of pride and ideals for Mewar."
