Mass Free Medical and Blood Donation Camp Organized in Udaipur

Udaipur – A grand free medical and blood donation camp was held on November 10, 2024, at Rotary Bajaj Bhavan, Rani Road, under the joint auspices of the Consumer Protection Organization (New Delhi), Udaipur District Unit, India Bull Riders Motorcycle Club, Wyze Motors, and Royal Enfield Sector 3, Udaipur. The event saw an overwhelming response, with over 51 units of blood donated and more than 1,620 beneficiaries availing various health services. People from all walks of life actively participated in the event.

The camp was inaugurated by the Chief Medical and Health Officer, Dr. Shankar H. Bamaniya, Jatin Gandhi, Commissioner of the Devasthan Department, and Nakshatra Telesra, Director of Badola Hyundai. They lit the ceremonial lamp to mark the opening of the camp. During his address, Dr. Bamaniya inspected all the service counters and reviewed the operation of the various services offered. He commended the free medical camp and described it as a commendable initiative for the health and welfare of society. He emphasized, "Blood donation is a great donation. It is the most significant humanitarian act that unites our society and helps save lives."

Jatin Gandhi, Commissioner of the Devasthan Department, praised the objectives of the camp, stating, "Health is the most important foundation of life. Such camps not only expand access to health services but also create awareness in society." He acknowledged the efforts of the Consumer Protection Organization and all its collaborators, adding that health camps like these can provide widespread benefits to the community.

Special guest Nakshatra Telesra, Director of Badola Hyundai, also appreciated the efforts made for public welfare at the camp. He said, "This camp is not just about promoting health services but is an exemplary act of social service. Raising awareness about health and providing free healthcare to the public is an important step." He thanked the organizing committee, the medical team, and all the volunteers for their contributions.

The camp, which ran from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, offered a wide range of free health services, including eye check-ups, BP and sugar tests, physiotherapy, body composition analysis, dental check-ups, acupressure, and cancer awareness sessions. Beneficiaries took full advantage of these services to enhance their health awareness.

Dr. Rajashree Gandhi, National President of the Consumer Protection Organization, expressed heartfelt gratitude to all the attendees, medical staff, blood donors, and volunteers. In her message, she said, "Education, health, and values are the three fundamental principles of life. A healthy body is the greatest blessing, and health camps like these play a crucial role in keeping society healthy. Staying healthy should be our top priority so that we can lead better lives." She urged everyone to spread this message far and wide and praised the selfless service of all the volunteers.

The event was further dignified by the presence of district leaders including Rishi Sukhpal, District President, Praveen Nahar, District Vice-President, Paras Khurdiya, M.S. Verma, Dr. Alpna Bohra, President of the Women’s Committee, Chandrakala Arya, Rikki Sukhwal, and other prominent social workers, adding to the camp's significance.

This successful event demonstrated the hard work of the Consumer Protection Organization and its partners, while also conveying a message of selfless service to society.
