Annakoot Festival at Maharana Pratap Gaurav Center, Devotees Participate in Grand Aarti

Udaipur, The Maharana Pratap Gaurav Center in Udaipur, also known as the 'National Pilgrimage,' became a remarkable hub of devotion and reverence on Sunday. The occasion was the celebration of the Annakoot Festival at the Bhaktidham, where an array of delicious dishes was offered as a special 'bhog' to the deities enshrined at the temple. Devotees came together to perform a grand aarti, filling the air with hymns and chants of devotion.

Anurag Saxena, Director of the Pratap Gaurav Center, shared that the Bhaktidham houses temples dedicated to the nine major deities of Mewar, including Gajananji, Shrinathji, Charbhuja Ji, Dwarkadhish Ji, Ekling Ji, Sawaliya Ji, Chamunda Mataji, Kesariya Nath (Rishabhdevji), and the Ram Darbar. The devotion and love for these deities were palpable in every corner of the temple complex. The temples were magnificently decorated for the occasion, creating a divine atmosphere.

Pandit Lakshmananand performed the grand aarti at the auspicious Abhijeet Muhurat, with devotees lighting clay lamps and participating in the ritual. The air resonated with the chanting of mantras and the sound of musical instruments, enhancing the spiritual experience. Devotees also engaged in devotional songs and kirtans.

Among the dignitaries present at the event were Madan Mohan Tank, Vice President of the Veer Shiromani Maharana Pratap Committee, Subhash Bhargava, Committee Member Prof. Madan Singh Rathore, General Body Member Dr. Devendra Saren, Hemendra Shrimali, RSS Departmental Head, social activist Deepak Godha, Shankar Lodha, and several other distinguished individuals. Senior journalists from various media houses in Udaipur also attended with their families and participated in the grand aarti.
