##By-Elections Will Determine Rajasthan's Future" - Tarachand Meena*

### BJP Works for Capitalists, Has No Concern for the Common People" - Ritvik Makwana

Udaipur, Ahead of the upcoming by-election for the Salumber Assembly, a meeting of Congress leaders and workers was held under the guidance of Ritvik Makwana, Secretary of the All India Congress Committee (AICC) and Rajasthan Co-Incharge. Udaipur District Congress spokesperson Dr. Sanjeev Rajpurohit stated that the preparations for the by-election were discussed in detail with office-bearers and workers from the Udaipur Dehat Congress Committee.

The meeting took place at the Salumber Block Congress office, where Makwana was warmly welcomed by Udaipur Dehat District Congress President Kachru Lal Choudhary and former MP Raghuveer Singh Meena with traditional Mewari pag and shawl. The PCC-appointed observer for Salumber, former minister Ashok Chandna, PCC General Secretary Dr. Rajendra Mund, and former MLA Ramlal Meena were also honored.

Addressing the gathering, Ritvik Makwana accused the BJP of working solely for capitalists, stating that wherever BJP is in power, policies are crafted to benefit the wealthy. He compared the current government to colonial rule, where companies served only their own interests. He emphasized that the BJP’s governments at the center and in the states are following the same path, disconnected from the problems of the common people. Makwana urged Congress workers to unite and fight against such forces, predicting that the upcoming by-elections will mark the beginning of the end for the BJP’s misrule.

District Congress President Kachru Lal Choudhary criticized the Rajasthan government, labeling it the "Slip Government," referring to the alleged control from Delhi. He said the state government has no vision of its own and that Rajasthan has suffered due to its incompetence. According to Choudhary, the upcoming by-elections will expose the failures of this "Slip Government," and the Congress will win across all seven constituencies.

Former minister and MLA Ashok Chandna encouraged workers to spread the message that development can only be achieved through Congress. He emphasized that other parties, including the BJP, lack any vision for growth. Drawing from his experience of successfully contesting three elections and working for Congress in nine locations, Chandna expressed confidence that Congress would emerge victorious once again in the by-elections.

Former Congress candidate from Udaipur Lok Sabha, Tarachand Meena, pointed out that after winning an election, a government must work for the people. He warned that voters would not tolerate a government that only confuses and deceives them without delivering any results. Meena remarked that the by-elections would reflect the growing dissatisfaction with the BJP’s lack of performance over the past ten months and would send a strong message to the state government.

Other speakers included former MP Raghuveer Singh Meena, PCC General Secretary Dr. Rajendra Mund, and Udaipur Dehat District Congress in-charge Kalpana Bhatnagar.

Several Congress leaders and workers were present at the meeting, including former MLA Ramlal Meena, Prem Patidar, Salumber Block President Laxman Singh, and many others.
