"Children's Poetry Recital and Storytelling Event Organized"

Kota : A "Children's Poetry Recital and Storytelling" event was held on Thursday at R.A. U. M. A. V. Morpa, Sultanpur, as part of the Children's Literature Fair. The event was presided over by Acting Principal Ramcharan Vaishnav, with teacher Mohanlal Mahawar as the special guest.

Organizer Dr. Aparna Pandey explained that the event was conducted under the auspices of the Literature, Culture, and Media Forum, Kota. The aim of the fair is to foster interest in literature and books among students. Dr. Prabhat Kumar Singhal emphasized the importance of such programs, especially in an era where children are increasingly distancing themselves from books and literature due to social media.

The program commenced with a Saraswati Vandana. Class 10 student Shivam Meghwal recited the poem "We Play Bharat," while Class 9 student Radha Renwal narrated the story "Solutions to Problems." Other students, including Kundan Suman, Pawan, Krishna Erwal, and Sanjana Beel, also presented poems. Approximately 60 students from Classes 11 and 12 participated enthusiastically.

Special guest Mahawar shared a story related to the great poet Kalidasa. Dr. Aparna Pandey, the program's organizer and cultural coordinator, recounted a story inspired by the Riti Kaal poet Bhooshan, focusing on "Shiva's Valor" and the message "Act without being influenced by praise."

Ramcharan Vaishnav shared a mythological tale about how to work systematically. Other teachers, including Sushmita Swami, Tasvvur Bano, and Mukesh Pareta, also participated in the event. The program concluded with the organizer expressing gratitude to all attendees.

**Quiz Competition:**  
At R.A. U. M. A. V. Keshavpura, Sector 6, Kota, an objective quiz competition on the topic of "Literature and Tourism" saw participation from 230 students in Classes 8 to 12. Principal Dr. Vaidehi Gautam announced that Priyanshu Agarwal from Class 11 secured first place, followed by Radhika Kanwar from Class 9 in second, and Nandini Porwal from Class 8 in third.

At Nalanda Academy School, Kota, in a quiz competition on Literature and Tourism, Zara Imran placed first, Arooj Mansoori second, and Manasvi Jain third. School Director Shashank Vijay Vargiya stated that 100 students participated, with questions covering topics related to literature, religion, culture, art, historical sites, and tourism.

In Baran district, at Shri Sanskar Academy School in Shivaji Nagar, 30 students participated in a quiz competition on literature and tourism.
