State Government Approves ₹501 Crore for Infrastructure Development in Udaipur Division

Udaipur . The state government is committed to realizing the announcements made in the revised budget for the year 2024-25. In this context, the approval of various infrastructure development projects aimed at enhancing transportation facilities across the state continues. Following the initiative of Deputy Chief Minister Diiya Kumari, the government has issued theoretical approvals for 84 projects related to road strengthening and culvert construction in different districts, amounting to ₹1,725.73 crore, and has allowed the tender process to begin. 

In the Udaipur division, approvals totaling over ₹501 crore have been granted for 15 projects. According to the approvals issued by the state government, a total of ₹30 crore has been allocated for road and culvert construction from Kyari to Saikla in the Gogunda Assembly constituency, the construction of a culvert over the Sirwal River, and road construction from Shivdiya to Piparmal. 

In Salumber district, ₹10 crore has been approved for the construction of 5.50 kilometers from Salumber Bypass SH 32 to SH 53 Isarwal and from SH 53 to 78 kilometers to Devgaon. Additionally, ₹25 crore has been allocated for road strengthening and widening from Salumber (Baroda) to Semari and from Sarada (Pandher Kui) to Salumber. 

In Chittorgarh district, approvals have been granted for six projects totaling ₹320.71 crore, while four projects in Bhilwara district received approvals worth ₹48 crore, and two projects in Rajsamand district were approved for ₹68 crore.
