Closure of the Three-Day Theater Festival at Shilpgram

Udaipur . The three-day theater festival organized by the Western Region Cultural Center in Udaipur concluded with the staging of the play "Triyatra" at the Darpan Auditorium in Shilpgram.

Furkan Khan, Director of the Western Region Cultural Center, informed that on the final day of the festival, "Triyatra," directed by Shri Gagan Mishra and Smt. Pridayadarshini Mishra, was performed. This play is a collage of three different stories from three countries, featuring O. Henry's "Barber Shop" from the USA, Gagan Mishra's "The Beginning of the End" from India, and Maxim Gorky's "Her Lover" from Russia. The play aims to weave these three distinct narratives into a cohesive storyline, beautifully portraying human nature and emotions. The audience appreciated the performances and the character portrayals in the play. In the end, all the artists were honored.

The event was hosted by Durgesh Chandwani, Assistant Director (Financial and Accounting) of the Center. Officials and staff of the Center were also present on this occasion.

**About the Play:**
O. Henry's story takes the audience on a journey of humor, while Gagan's play highlights the falsehoods surrounding a writer's creation. Maxim Gorky's narrative immerses the audience in romance and pathos. All three authors center their works around seemingly ordinary characters, offering profound and meaningful reflections on life. The presented play combines works written in different times and circumstances, showcasing the universality of human experiences.
