Stellar Performances by Youthful Enthusiasm at the Fresher’s Event
Lav Goswami crowned Mr. Fresher and Neetu Kanwar as Miss Fresher
Udaipur,A vibrant fresher’s party was organized by the Department of Computer Science and Information Technology, under the Faculty of Science, at Bhupal Nobles Postgraduate College. The students dazzled the audience with remarkable performances full of youthful energy and enthusiasm. The event commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by Dean Dr. Renu Rathore and Associate Dean Dr. Ritu Tomar, in front of Goddess Saraswati.
In her address, the Dean extended warm wishes for a bright future to all the new students, emphasizing the significance of platforms like this in preparing students for future challenges. She highlighted how such events foster self-confidence, decision-making skills, and creativity among students. Head of the Department Dr. Khatun Kathawala provided detailed information about the event, which included ramp walks, introduction rounds, and Q&A sessions, where participants showcased their talents.
Lav Goswami was awarded the title of Mr. Fresher, while Neetu Kanwar was crowned Miss Fresher, both honored with trophies and sashes. Lavika Vyas and Prince Prajapat were the first runners-up. In the Best Talent competition, Khushboo Sen and Fairy Johnson emerged as winners, while Komal Jhala won Best Introduction, Bhavika Suwalka for Best Dress-Up, Pari Jain for Best Behavior, and Mohammad Bilal Khan for Best Confidence.
The event saw the presence of Old Boys Association Secretary Bhanu Pratap Singh, along with Dr. Rajesh Soni, Dr. Vivek Chaplot, Dr. Mahipal Singh Deora, Dr. Hariom Singh, Dr. Neelu Jhala, and Shailja Ranawat. The panel of judges included Dr. Hemendra Singh Shaktawat, Dr. Praveena Rathore, and Dr. Kamini Gaur.
University Chairperson Col. Prof. Shiv Singh Sarangdevot, Secretary Dr. Mahendra Singh Agria, Managing Director Mohabbat Singh Rathore, and University Registrar Dr. Niranjan Narayan Singh sent their best wishes to all the new students. They expressed that such events help foster strong bonds between juniors and seniors. The event was supported by the management team, including Parth Kashyap, Ajeet Singh Panwar, Himanshu Singh Rao, and Kartik Joshi.
