Cleanliness as a Virtue: Taking an Oath for a Cleaner World

Udaipur : The NSS Unit of the Bhopal Nobles University Girls' Unit and cadets from the 5 Raj Girls Army Battalion engaged in a cleanliness drive within the college campus under the theme "Cleanliness as a Virtue." They pledged their full commitment to promoting cleanliness and awareness.

The program began with an address to the students of B.N. Public School, emphasizing the importance of cleanliness and encouraging them to adopt clean habits in their lives. Dr. Mahendra Singh Agarwal, Minister of Vidya Pracharini Sabha, administered the cleanliness oath to the volunteers and cadets. He highlighted that maintaining cleanliness in one’s surroundings is essential, and that clean conduct in thoughts and actions is equally important for realizing the vision of a clean world.

During the event, Mohabbat Singh Rathore, Managing Director of Bhopal Nobles Institute, also called for heightened awareness regarding cleanliness. Colonel Professor Shiv Singh Sarangdevot, Chairperson of Bhopal Nobles University, along with Dr. Niranjan Narayan Singh Khod, the University Registrar, and Rajendra Singh Jhala, Joint Secretary of Vipras, urged everyone to contribute to national cleanliness initiatives. They emphasized the responsibility of all Indians to keep their environments clean.

Additionally, the program educated local vendors selling food items in public spaces about the importance of cleanliness and provided tips on how to maintain hygiene around their products. They were also made aware of the negative consequences of littering, especially near large shops, and were encouraged to promote cleanliness both inside and outside their establishments.

Cadets conveyed the message of keeping the Earth clean through a theatrical performance, questioning whether we might unknowingly contribute to its pollution. This information was shared by NCC Officer Captain Dr. Anita Rathore and NSS Coordinator Dr. Lokeshwari Rathore.

Furthermore, Dr. K.S. Rathore, the Public Relations Officer, informed that a talk on World Voluntary Blood Donation Day, Cleanliness Day, International Day of Older Persons, and Vegetarian Day was organized at B.N. Pharmacy.
