Hindustan Zinc Organizes Swachhta Hi Seva Program
Udaipur : As part of the Swachhta Hi Seva initiative, Hindustan Zinc organized a special session to raise awareness about cleanliness and health among adolescent girls. Dr. Rajshree Gandhi Verma, National President of the Consumer Protection Organization, provided detailed information to the teenagers about menstruation and the physical changes that occur during adolescence, addressing their various queries.
Dr. Gandhi emphasized the need for awareness campaigns to empower children emotionally, physically, and mentally. She explained the importance of menstrual awareness for adolescent girls, highlighting how it can help them take better care of their health and hygiene. Additionally, she shared information about health and hygiene measures to be followed during menstruation.
Present at the event were CSR Head Aruna Cheetah, CSR Officer Radhika Kheriya, Deputy Security Head Ankita Sahu, Ladies Club President Manisha Sharma, CSR Coordinator Motilal Sharma, Pannalal Meghwal, Sakhi Team Leader Hitesh Sharma, Federation Manager Mamta Kunwar Devda, Field Coordinator Jashoda Sargara, and several other field coordinators, including Madhu Nagda, Nathibai, Reena Shaktawat, Premshankar Sharma, and Lakshmilaal Meghwal.
At the end of the session, biodegradable sanitary pads were distributed to all the adolescent girls by the Consumer Protection Organization. Dr. Rajshree Gandhi Verma was also honored with a memento for her contributions.
