### Two-Day Program Concludes on World Pharmacist Day
Bhilwara, 25 September 2024: A two-day academic event titled “Pharmacists Meeting Global Health Needs” was successfully concluded at the Faculty of Applied and Health Sciences, Sangam University. The event featured various activities, including poster and model presentations, herbal remedies showcases, PowerPoint presentations, disc drive and draw competitions, Pharma Speak, and sports events such as box cricket, chess, and carrom.
Deputy Dean Dr. Praveen Kumar Soni emphasized the importance of pharmacists, stating, "While doctors save lives through medicines, pharmacists breathe life into these medicines through their knowledge." The program concluded on 25 September 2024.
The event was graced by notable guests, including Pawan Vyas, President of Bhilwara Chemists Association; Dr. Hanuman Prajapati; Dr. Vivek Dashora, Chief Consultant Cardiologist at Keshav Porwal Hospital, Bhilwara; and Sangeeta Bansal from the Heartfulness Institute.
Vice-Chancellor Professor Karunesh Saxena, in his address, highlighted the significance of such events for students' intellectual development. Registrar Professor Rajeev Mehta congratulated all faculty members for the successful organization and lauded the efforts. Pro-Vice Chancellor Professor Manas Ranjan Panigrahi also inspired the department to continue organizing similar events.
The coordinators of the event, Aishwarya Joshi and Raveena Sharma, shared that students actively participated in all activities. During the closing ceremony, students who secured first and second positions in various events were honored. Key contributors to the program included students Sufiya, Bharti, Sejal, Manish, Gurpreet, Karuna, Divyanshi, Himanshu, and Rehan. Faculty members Dr. Nilesh Maheshwari, Rituraj Singh Chundawat, Vipin Kumar, and Dr. Jagdish Sharma were also present at the event.
