Dr. Chitra Sen from Lake City Participates in International Art Workshop

Udaipur. Renowned painter Dr. Chitra Sen from Lake City participated in a four-day international art workshop and seminar held in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, to mark World Peace Day. Through his artwork in the Mewar style, he showcased the pride of Mewar.

Organized by Lalita Nyas, dedicated to fine arts, folk arts, and performing arts, the workshop brought together artists from various countries. Dr. Chitra Sen depicted the image of a yakshika (a celestial being) in a contemporary manner, captivating guests and art enthusiasts alike. He created this artwork using acrylic colors, employing his artistic skills and techniques to create an optical illusion with a golden bar. The artwork also featured an elephant in the Mewar style, enhancing its beauty.

During the workshop, Dr. Bharat Bhushan, president of the trust, mentioned that the chief guest was Dr. Sanjeev Kishore Gautam, Director General of the National Gallery of Modern Art in New Delhi. The main coordinator of the seminar was Dr. Sudipta B. Bhushan. Senior artists from both India and abroad also participated in this artistic event.
