Government Taking Firm Action Against Organized Crime

Shri Ganganagar —Minister of Home Affairs, Animal Husbandry, Dairy, and Fisheries, Shri Jawahar Singh Bedham, stated that under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma, good governance has been established in Rajasthan, with ongoing actions against criminals. Efforts to make Rajasthan crime-free are in progress. Shri Bedham made these comments after inspecting Janseva Hospital and other institutions at Tantia University.

Earlier, during his visit to Janseva Hospital, the minister interacted with beneficiaries of the Ayushman scheme to understand the treatments and facilities they receive. He noted that programs such as Ayushman Bharat and Swachhata Pakhwada are being successfully conducted in celebration of the Prime Minister’s birthday. Patients visiting the hospital are provided treatment for just ₹10. He also praised the institution's efforts in various sectors, especially those for the elderly and differently-abled individuals.

The state government has issued directives for strict action against individuals involved in organized crime and gangsters. As a result, many criminals are fleeing the state. He referenced last year's paper leak cases, asserting that effective action is being taken against those involved in such crimes. Due to the district's proximity to the international border, law enforcement is being closely monitored, with ongoing efforts against drug-related offenses. Any criminal engaged in anti-social activities will not be spared.

Following this, during an event, he addressed nursing students and participated in a tree-planting initiative, offering prayers to cows and feeding them as part of the "Service Fortnight" and the "One Tree for Mother" campaign. Esteemed citizens including Mohit Tantia, Sharanpal Singh, Atmaram Tarad, Ramzan Ali Chopdar, Sandeep Kasania, and Rajkumar Soni were present.

**Review of Law and Order**

Later, the Home Minister held a meeting at the police lines to review the district's law and order situation. During the meeting, he provided necessary directives to police officials to reduce crime rates, emphasizing the need for firm and rigorous action against offenders. Present at this meeting were District Collector Dr. Manju, District Superintendent of Police Shri Gaurav Yadav, ASP Shri Raghuveer Sharma, B. Aditya, Anupam Mishra, Ramjeshwar Lal, Sanjeev Chauhan, and Prateek Meal, among others.
