Works of Young Poet Om Nagar Included in Udaipur's Sukhadia University BA Hindi Curriculum

Kota: The literary works of renowned young poet and writer Dr. Om Nagar from Kota will now be part of the Bachelor of Arts (BA) Hindi undergraduate curriculum at Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur. Three prose works from Nagar's non-fiction book *"Nib Ke Cheere Se"* (From the Cut of the Pen), which was honored with the Bharatiya Jnanpith Navlekhan Award, have been included in the syllabus. These include *'Mausam Ki Kasauti'*, *'Dharti Ka Prem Prasang Yani'*, and *'Dari Hui Raat Ki Hansati Hui Subah'*.

The works will be taught in the fifth semester as part of the *'Essay and Other Genres'* chapter in the BA Hindi course, which is aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.  

It is noteworthy that Om Nagar hails from Antana village in the Baran district. In his 25-year literary journey, he has published 20 books in Hindi and Rajasthani. The non-fiction work from which these pieces were selected was first published by Bharatiya Jnanpith in 2016 and was also awarded the Kanhaiyalal Sahal Award by the Rajasthan Sahitya Akademi. For his outstanding contribution to Hindi and Rajasthani literature, Om Nagar has been honored with several prestigious awards, including the Sahitya Akademi Award, Bharatiya Jnanpith Award, and the Youth Award from the Indian Language Council, Kolkata.
