Udaipur: A district-level review meeting of the remarkable water conservation initiative, *Mukhyamantri Jal Swavlamban Abhiyan 2.0 (Phase 1)*, was held on Tuesday under the guidance of District Collector Arvind Kumar Poswal, with the presence of ACEO of the District Council, Anjum Tahir Samma.
During the meeting, ACEO Samma instructed all departments to submit Work IDs of tasks approved under the first phase of the campaign by September 11, based on the revised state-level targets. He mentioned that future state-level review meetings will rely on the progress updated on the portal, and all departments must ensure to upload all actual progress within seven days.
He further emphasized that the available funds in the district amounting to ₹39.76 crore should be fully utilized by completing the tendering process for all approved works and issuing work orders to ensure timely completion of the tasks. Additionally, he urged all departments to upload financial approvals for departmental, MNREGA, and state funds on the MJSA portal promptly and regularly update work progress through the mobile app.
ACEO Samma also directed that all departments upload photographs and details of the completed tasks under state funds to the JSA portal. In the meeting, Superintendent Engineer of Watershed Development, Atul Jain, provided a detailed presentation on department-wise and fund-wise targets and the progress achieved so far under the *Mukhyamantri Jal Swavlamban Abhiyan 2.0 (Phase 1)*.
The meeting also included a review of the *Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana 2.0* (Departmental Fund) under the Watershed Development and Soil Conservation Department. Information was shared about the 161 Gram Panchayats and 414 villages selected in District Udaipur and Salumbar for MJSA 2.0 Phase 2, based on the state-level criteria.
High-ranking officials from the District Council, Watershed Development and Soil Conservation Department, Water Resources Department, PHED, Forest Department, and other key departments attended the meeting.
