Conclusion of National Conference on Indian Knowledge Tradition and National Education Policy, 2020

Udaipur, Under the auspices of the Education Department of Bhopal Nobles University, a two-day National Conference was organized on May 23 and 24, 2024. The inaugural session of the conference was attended by renowned educationist Prof. Parmendra Kumar Dashora, Chancellor of Mangalayatan University, Aligarh, and the Minister of Propaganda of the Vidya Pracharini Sabha, Prof. Mahendra Singh Rathore, and distinguished guest Shakti Singh Karohi. Prof. Shashi Chittor, the director of the conference, informed that this conference was organized through a hybrid mode. This conference holds significant importance in the context of the National Education Policy, 2020. Educators, thinkers, researchers, and department members from Udaipur and beyond participated and shared their thoughts.

A total of 101 research papers were read and presented in seven technical sessions held during the two-day conference, using both online and offline mediums. While presiding over the conference, Prof. Mahendra Singh Rathore shed light on the rich Indian cultural heritage and knowledge tradition, emphasizing that we should never forget our original knowledge tradition, which has always provided the world with a new path. Eminent educators and researchers from various fields shared their insights on the Indian knowledge tradition during different technical sessions.

Colonel Prof. Shiv Singh Sarangdevot, presiding over the concluding session, called upon everyone to embrace tradition along with modernity so that the importance of our ancient culture can be understood by the new generation. Prof. Kailash Chandra Sodani, the distinguished guest, discussed the importance of education in his opening remarks. He emphasized the need to preserve our ancient rich heritage amidst the modern era of technology and development. Colonel Prof. Shiv Singh Sarangdevot, in his presidential address, stated that the main objective of the National Education Policy is to promote our rich heritage, which the present generation has almost forgotten in the era of modernity. The successful organization of the two-day National Conference was congratulated by Mohabbat Singh Rathore, the Director-General of Bhopal Nobles Institute, and all the honorable members of the executive committee.
