District Collector Poswal emphasized the importance of society in maintaining law and order, stating that "the role of society is crucial in upholding law and order." In this context, a meeting of the Peace Committee was held in the District Council Hall to discuss law enforcement issues in view of upcoming festivals. During the meeting, discussions were held on topics such as parking arrangements, participation of volunteers, and procession routes.
Collector Poswal stated, "Resolution through dialogue fosters trust, creating an environment conducive to peace." He further highlighted the need for community engagement and cooperation to ensure the successful implementation of law and order measures during festivals.
The meeting also addressed various logistical aspects of upcoming events, including parking arrangements, volunteer involvement, and procession routes. High-ranking officials from the police and administration, along with representatives from various community organizations, attended the meeting and provided valuable insights and suggestions.
