The Rajasthan government has issued an order transferring two IAS officers and 10 RAS officers, as directed by Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma. The Department of Personnel (DOP) of the state government, under the guidance of the Chief Secretary Hemant Gera, issued three orders on Friday night.
In a significant move, senior IAS officer Shikhar Agrawal, from the 1993 batch, has been appointed as the Chief Secretary of the Chief Minister's office, in addition to his role as the Additional Chief Secretary of the Forest, Environment, and Climate Change Department. This decision aligns with the directives of Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma.
Furthermore, Nalini Katthotia, another IAS officer, has been appointed as the Director of the Department of Minority Affairs. The personnel department's orders also included the transfer of 10 RAS officers to various ministries.
These transfers and appointments are part of the government's administrative restructuring to ensure effective governance and utilization of officers in key positions. The reshuffling aims to leverage the expertise of officers in different departments and enhance the overall functioning of the state administration.
