CMO Provides Instructions in a Meeting with Health Officials for Preparedness of 'Vikasit Bharat Sankalp Yatra'
Bhilwara: a video conference was conducted at the CMO office involving district and block-level health officials to review preparations for the upcoming 'Vikasit Bharat Sankalp Yatra.' Dr. Mustak Khan, the Chief Medical Officer, addressed medical officers and health workers directly, gathering information on the preparations and providing necessary directives.
Participants in the video conference included Dr. Sanjeev Sharma, ARSHO at the district level, Dr. Pradeep Kataria, DIO, Yogesh Vaishnav, DPM, Tarun Chashta, Data Manager, Tushar Bhatnagar, DPC, Chiranjivi, and Yogendra Paliwal, BMOs, Medical Officers in charge of medical institutions, and Block Program Managers, among other health personnel.
Dr. Khan highlighted the significance of organizing medical camps in the district during the 'Vikasit Bharat Sankalp Yatra' to promote various health schemes of the central government. He emphasized the need to reach the benefits of these schemes to every eligible individual at the grassroots level, conducting a gap analysis of health programs in rural and urban areas, and registering individuals deprived of these services.
During the Yatra, health camps will screen and examine individuals for NCDs, conduct screenings for Tuberculosis under the 'Tuberculosis Free India Campaign,' and distribute medications to patients. The campaign will also aim to dispel misconceptions about TB, create awareness, and engage individuals as 'Nikshay Mitra.'
Furthermore, beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PMJAY) will undergo e-KYC, and Ayushman cards will be generated for them. The CMO stressed the importance of promoting Prime Minister Bharatiya Jan Aushadhi Kendras and organizing activities related to the Ayushman Bharat Arogya Mandir Program.
Preceding the event, Dr. Mustak Khan conducted a meeting at the IME Hall with medical officers, ANMs, ASHA workers, and PHM from urban areas. The meeting focused on gathering information about the preparedness for the 'Vikasit Bharat Sankalp Yatra,' discussing the route plan, and providing directives to achieve the set targets with 100% efficiency.
