Conclusion of Indian Language Festival Series with Symposium on "Relearning Human Rights Language: A Necessity for Our Times"

The Indian Language Festival series, which commenced on November 6, 2023, at the Public Library in Kota, concluded with a symposium on the topic "Relearning Human Rights Language: A Necessity for Our Times." The main guest for the event was Dr. Anupama Taylor, an officer of the Rajasthan Administrative Service, along with eminent scholar K.B. Dixit, and distinguished guests, poet Chand Sheri and Lekhraj Sharma, Chief of the Kota Bureau at Mahanagar Times. The proceedings were facilitated by coordinator Dubli Kumari.

In her inaugural address, Dr. Deepak Kumar Shrivastav, Regional Library Director, highlighted various activities organized over the month, emphasizing the positive impact on readers' language awareness.

Main guest Dr. Anupama Taylor emphasized the importance of relearning human rights language in our times. She stated, "Understanding human rights language is crucial in our era. It teaches us about equality, justice, and rights in society, fostering an understanding of diversity and respect."

Chairing the event, senior thinker and scholar K.B. Dixit expressed, "Knowledge of human rights brings about a positive change in our attitude towards our rights and those of others. It instills feelings of empathy, support, and harmony. Therefore, education and learning about human rights are essential for the development and prosperity of our society."

Special guest Chand Sheri conveyed, "Learning the language of human rights sends a message of positive change, contributing to the prosperity and unity of society." Lekhraj Sharma added, "It is a continuous process that assists every individual in fostering a sense of equal rights and respect."

On this occasion, participants like Chitra Azad, Apeksha Chaturvedi, Shushma, Soha Ansari, Jetal, Isika, Sonal, Surendra, Jitendra, Karishma, Lucky, Himalaya, Chandan, Priyansha, Kiran, Vishnu, Shivam, Kuldeep Sen, Munish Kumar Chetaram, Nishchal, Shabnam, among others, shared their perspectives.
