PMCH Commences New Academic Session 2023-24 with Swearing-in Ceremony
Udaipur : The official commencement of the new academic session 2023-24 for MBBS students at Pacific Medical College and Hospital (PMCH) in Bedla Pratapura, Udaipur, took place today. During this event, new incoming students were welcomed with the traditional ritual of applying vermilion.
Inaugurating the new academic session, Rahul Agrawal, Chairman of the institution, along with Executive Director Aman Agrawal, Vice-Chancellor Dr. A. P. Gupta of Pacific Medical University, and Principal-cum-Controller Dr. M. M. Mangal lit a lamp in front of the idol of Goddess Saraswati.
Chairman Rahul Agrawal congratulated all the students and instilled in them the commitment to become successful doctors and serve all sections of society. Executive Director Aman Agrawal inspired them to aspire to become exemplary healthcare professionals in the future.
Dr. A. P. Gupta, Vice-Chancellor of Pacific Medical University, emphasized that there are no shortcuts to becoming a doctor and that students must have a strong desire to learn with a sense of service and compassion to become skilled physicians.
Dr. M. M. Mangal, Principal and Controller of PMCH, addressed the first-year MBBS students, advising them to keep themselves updated in the medical profession and also focus on character-building to instill trust in patients.
During the program, the MBBS students of the 2023-24 batch took the oath of Maharishi Charak. The event was attended by the Dean, Directors, and Heads of Departments of the Medical College, along with the parents of the new students.
