Banswara: The poster for the literary, dialogue, and arts festival **“Mahi Talk Fest 4.0 – Ekattam Bharat”** was formally unveiled by **Vice-Chancellor Prof. Keshav Singh Thakur** of **Govind Guru Tribal University (GGTU), Banswara**. The festival is being organized jointly by GGTU and the **World Dialogue Center, Udaipur**. While unveiling the poster, Prof. Thakur described the event as a **unique initiative** and emphasized that it will prove beneficial for both university students and the youth of the **Vagad region**. ### **A Celebration of Youth Dialogue and Creativity** Prof. Keshav Singh Thakur stated that **Mahi Talk Fest** will serve as a strong platform to showcase the region’s **cultural, literary, and intellectual heritage at the national level** and play a significant role in connecting youth through **dialogue and creative expression**. The three-day festival will be held **from January 23 to 25, 2026, on the university campus**. Present at the poster launch were **core committee members Dr. Sunil Khatik and Mrs. Ruchi Shrimali**, along with **Ashish Upadhyay, Randhir Vyas, and Devansh Goswami**. University officials, including **Deputy Registrar Prof. Rajesh Joshi, Academic In-charge Prof. Shafqat Rana, Controller of Examinations Prof. Pramod Vaishnav, Director of Research Prof. Narendra Paneri, Affiliation In-charge Dr. Rakesh Damor, and Assistant Registrar Dr. Lokendra Kumar**, were also present and assured their active participation for the success of the festival. ### **Diverse Activities Planned at the Fest** Dr. Sunil Khatik, a core committee member, explained that **Mahi Talk Fest 4.0** will feature **exhibitions, literary discussion sessions, cultural programs, and competitions**. The **exhibitions** will include: * Book displays by the **National Book Trust (NBT)** and other publishers * Art exhibits based on the **Indian Constitution** * Exhibitions on **tribal heroes** and the **tragedy of partition** **Literary discussion sessions** will cover topics such as: * **Unity in folk literature** * **All India Radio and literature** * **Anandmath – 150 years of “Vande Mataram”** * **Centenary of nation-building initiatives** **Cultural programs** will include: * Puppet performance on **Veerbala Kali Bai** * Musical storytelling on **Meera Bai** * Theatrical enactment on **Rani Abakka** * Performances on **Bawri Sadhana** and **Mallakhamb demonstrations** Competitions such as **Reels Making (Civic Etiquette), Storytelling (Spiritual Tradition of Vagad), and Drawing Contests** will also be organized. Books from prestigious publishers, including the **National Book Trust**, will be available throughout the festival.
