Udaipur,Maharana Mewar Charitable Foundation, Udaipur, will honor 78 outstanding students for their excellence in academics, co-curricular activities, and sports through the Bhamashah Award, Maharana Raj Singh Award, and Maharana Fateh Singh Award.
Dr. Mayank Gupta, the convener of the 41st Annual Felicitation Ceremony, has released the list of awardees. The selected students will be honored by the Foundation’s Trustee, Dr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, in a special event at City Palace, Udaipur, on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at 4:30 PM.
He stated that 15 students from undergraduate courses across Rajasthan will receive the Academic Bhamashah Award for the academic year 2023-2024. Each student will be awarded ₹11,001, a certificate of merit, and a medal.
Bhamashah Award (Established in 1983-84)
The award is dedicated to Bhamashah, a nobleman from the Oswal community, renowned for his unwavering support to Maharana Pratap. He played a crucial role in funding Maharana Pratap’s military campaigns.
The Bhamashah Award is conferred upon university students in Rajasthan who achieve the highest marks in their undergraduate exams.

Maharana Raj Singh Award (Established in 1980-81)
Maharana Raj Singh, the 58th ruler of Mewar (1652-1680), was a fearless and just king who opposed Mughal oppression and provided sanctuary to religious figures and Hindu deities.
Under this award, 18 students from colleges affiliated with universities in Udaipur and within the Udaipur Municipal Corporation limits will be honored for excellence in sports and co-curricular activities. Each recipient will receive ₹11,001, a certificate of merit, and a medal.

Maharana Fateh Singh Award (Established in 1980-81)
Maharana Fateh Singh was a principled and independent ruler who resisted British colonial influence and upheld Mewar’s sovereignty.
This award is presented to students excelling in academics, co-curricular activities, and sports. For 2023-2024, 38 students will be honored, each receiving ₹11,001, a certificate of merit, and a medal.
