*Udaipur, Rajasthan,- The Ved Samaj marked the celebration of its third collective Karva Chauth with a grand ceremony held at the community center in Sector 9. The event, organized by the Ved Samaj Public Awareness Committee and the Youth Organization, featured a spectacular procession of 127 couples who participated in the age-old customs and rituals of the festival.
The Chairman of the committee, Uday Lal Ved, and the President of the Youth Organization, Deepak Ved, explained that the event commenced at 2:00 PM from Savina Vatika, with a colorful procession. The procession began with the idol of Chauth Mata, followed by all 127 couples, each engaging in the traditions of the festival. The event witnessed the presence of a large number of community members who enjoyed the festive procession, starting from Savina to the venue in Sector 9.
The evening was followed by moon worship and prayers conducted under the guidance of the community's pandit. The festivities concluded with a grand feast offered to the society members.
Uday Lal Ved, Chairman of the Ved Samaj, stated that following the celebration of Karva Chauth, the society is planning various programs aimed at the overall development of the community. These include collective Ekadashi celebrations and community weddings.
The event showcased the rich cultural heritage of the Ved Samaj and reinforced the importance of collective celebrations within the community.
