Literature’s Role in National Interest Reflection

Kota – A literary felicitation ceremony was organized on Tuesday to commemorate the birth anniversary of nationalist poet Virendra Singh Vidyarthi. The event was jointly conducted by the Rajbhasha Department of West Central Railway, Kota Division, and Shri Hindi Sahitya Samiti.

The chief guest of the event was Vinay Baba from Mahaprabhuji Peeth, while Dr. Raghuraj Singh Karmyogi presided over the program. Distinguished guests included Rameshwar Sharma ‘Ramu Bhaiya,’ Patron of the All India Sahitya Parishad, and keynote speaker Bhagwat Singh Mayank. Arvind Sisodia, Education Trustee of the Rajasthan Government Textbook Board, was also present on the dais.

Speaking on the occasion, Vinay Baba emphasized, "To protect religion, it is essential to safeguard the nation, and for this, literature must play a leading role in awakening national consciousness." Dr. Raghuraj Singh Karmyogi highlighted that Virendra Singh Vidyarthi’s book "Soch Badlo Se Sitare Badal Jayenge" is a historic work that should be widely promoted. He added that reading this book could help reduce the increasing number of student suicides in Kota.

During the event, Senior Divisional Accounts Officer and storyteller Rajkumar Prajapat, along with renowned satirist Kamlesh Kamal, were honored with a shawl, coconut, and a memento. The entire program was meticulously managed by Sanjeev Palwar, the eldest son of the late Virendra Singh Vidyarthi. Saraswati Vandana was presented by Gyan Singh Gambhir, while the event was compered by melodious lyricist Prem Shastri.
