German automaker Volkswagen has launched its much-awaited new SUV, the Tiguan R-Line, in Udaipur at the Volkswagen Udaipur showroom. The introductory price of the SUV has been announced at ₹46.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
On the occasion, Director Rahul Shah and Mrs. Shalaka Shah said that the Tiguan R-Line reflects the brand’s vision of creating premium vehicles that truly add value to customers’ lives. With its attractive pricing and distinctive R-Line styling, the SUV further strengthens Volkswagen’s position as a premium brand in India. The vehicle has been designed keeping modern Indian customers in mind, offering a perfect blend of power, luxury, and global design.
Sales Head Suresh Mali shared that the Tiguan R-Line is powered by a robust 2.0-litre TSI EVO 4 engine delivering 204 PS of power and 320 Nm of torque. It comes paired with a 7-speed DSG transmission and 4MOTION all-wheel drive system.
The SUV is equipped with several premium and safety features, including 19-inch alloy wheels, a panoramic sunroof, Level 2 ADAS, massage function seats, electrically adjustable ventilated seats, and nine airbags, among many other advanced features.
